Look, I pretty much hate the social phenomenon that is “fandom”. And I’m old and a luddite. In my day we barely had the internet so while I know the concept of “fandom” has existed for something like 30 years, it is completely foreign to even my nerdy teenage self that people were writing stories about Kirk and Spock having sex.
